This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information about you when you visit pavictekacademy.com or enrol in our courses.
When you apply for a course, contact us, or subscribe to our mailing list, we may collect: full name, email address, and WhatsApp/phone number; course preferences and enrolment information; NYSC status and supporting documentation (where applicable); payment confirmation records (we do not store card numbers — payments are processed through Nomba); technical data including IP address, browser type, and pages visited; and any communications you send us.
Pavictek Digital Ltd processes your personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019 and the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023. Our legal bases include: consent (where you have opted in), contractual necessity (where processing is required to fulfil your enrolment), and legitimate interests (where we have a reasonable, proportionate business purpose).
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with: Nomba for payment processing; MailerLite for email communication services; service providers who assist in running our website and operations; and legal authorities if required by Nigerian law.
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Enrolment records are retained for a minimum of 5 years. Marketing opt-in data is retained until you unsubscribe. Technical log data is retained for up to 12 months. NYSC identification documents you upload are kept in a private, access-controlled area, used only to confirm the NYSC discount, and permanently deleted after 90 days. Checkout details that were never completed are deleted within 3 days. Database backups are rotated and kept for a limited period.
Anyone can confirm a Pavictek Academy certificate on our public verification page by entering its certificate number. The page shows only the holder's name, the course completed, the type of credential, the issue date and the programme and training period — never contact details. Each lookup is logged (certificate number, time, IP address) for fraud prevention and deleted after 12 months.
Under the NDPR and NDPA, you have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations); withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time; and lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
